The legend of Shohei Ohtani grew even more Wednesday night when the Angels star struck out 13 Cardinals batters in just five innings of work.
That was a career-high for the coolest guy in baseball who can do it all. If you need more proof of that just look at what he did in the ninth inning—Ohtani doubled and scored the Angels’ final run in a three-run rally that gave Los Angeles a 6–4 win.
But let’s get back to his work on the mound. His last three strikeouts all came in the fifth inning and his final one of the night was an absolute beauty.
