Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon had to serve a four-game suspension for a confrontation with an A’s fan during the first series of the year. Although he returned to action over the weekend ready to move forward, his teammates aparently were still caught up in the incident and having some fun at his expense.
During a recent game, Shohei Ohtani was caught on camera mimicking Rendon’s interaction with the fan. The Angels superstar had a great perspective of the conflict, as he walked right behind Rendon when it happened, giving him a good view. The result is a fairly accurate depiction of what Rendon did that night.

Since Ohtani doesn’t play the field, on days when he isn’t pitching he has time on the bench to waste in between at-bats. That apparently includes re-enacting the team’s first controversy of the season with some teammates.
Everything seems O.K. now between Rendon and the fan, allowing everyone to laugh at the confrontation a bit in hindsight.
