As a four-time Golden Globes award winner, it shouldn't be all that surprising that Shōgun season 2 is on the way. But, when it was meant to be a mini-series which covered pretty much the entirety of James Clavell's novel of the same name, there's a lot to talk about for where the show will go next. Especially as the cast and crew are reportedly heading into production in January 2026.
