Shocking photo as prefabs go up in flames in south Dublin as firefighters issue warning

Dublin Fire Brigade have shared a shocking photo from the scene of prefabs on fire yesterday.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when two fire engines were called to prefabs on fire off the Belgard Road in Tallaght. A large smoke plume led to numerous 999 calls, with firefighters rushing to the scene.

Thankfully, firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. No injuries were reported during the incident.

It's been a busy weekend for the brave firefighters from Dublin Fire Brigade.

On Friday night, Tallaght fire station responded to a vehicle fire last night in close proximity to a property. Using high pressure hose reels which deliver over 200 litres per minute of water, the fire was prevented from spreading.

Also on Friday, firefighters attended a fire alarm in a multi storey building, urging people to never hesitate to evacuate if they hear a fire alarm go off in their building.
