A distressing video has emerged which appears to show a man falling unconscious after he was allegedly choked during an altercation.
The shocking footage, taken on Anglesea St in Cork near the courthouse, shows a number of people involved in the violent incident.
During the video, one man can be seen grabbing another man in a headlock while two others wrestle on the ground.

Two people then attempt to intervene while one person appears to get choked. One other man then attempts to intervene and appears to throw a punch at the first man's head. Then the man who is being choked slumps down before he is let go.
Shockingly, in another video, which is thought to have been taken on the same day, Gardaí are seen to be breaking up an altercation which involved at least four people on the junction by Old Station Road.
In the short amount of footage, four people are seen in the middle of the road prior to a Garda running in to break it up.
As the video continues, more people can be seen running over and by the end, Gardaí have managed to split up the two groups by pushing them off in different directions.
It is not known if anyone required hospital treatment after the incidents.
