Shivlal and Ayub supported panel promises to bring back lost ‘glory of Hyderabad cricket’

HYDERABAD: After burning their hands badly in the last elections which were held in 2019, former Test cricketers N Shivlal Yadav and Arshad Ayub have decided to play it safe this time around.

In 2019, the HCA heavyweights had thrown their weight behind former India captain Mohd Azharuddin and helped him win the president’s post convincingly. However, the honeymoon lasted only for a few months as Azharuddin completely sidelined the rest of the Apex Council and ran the show his way.
