Droughts and heatwaves across Europe have reduced water levels in some of the continent’s most prominent rivers, which has restricted where cruise ships can visit.
Levels were close to their lowest on the Danube River around Budapest earlier this month and have hit the lowest levels since 1996 in Romania.
