Shelbourne have snapped up winger Josh Giurgi after a spell with Norwich City.
And manager Damien Duff insists the Drumcondra club will help the Dubliner rebuild his career.
A right winger, Giurgi played for the Canaries Under-23s after graduating from their Under-18s.
And the former Leixlip United lad was a regular in Norwich’s Premier League 2 side under manager Alan Neilson.
Giurgi, a former Ireland underage international, has penned a deal with Shels until the end of the season.
Duff said: "Josh came in and trained brilliantly last week and thoroughly deserves this deal.
“He has great quality on the ball, is very athletic and penetrates brilliantly. He is eager to rebuild his career after leaving Norwich and I am sure we can help him.”
And Giurgi said of his Shels switch: “I’m delighted to sign for this great club and help us in the journey that we are on.
“The players, all of the staff and Gaffer have all been very welcoming from the start and I can’t wait to get on the pitch.”
