Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom has highlighted the danger Nottingham Forest will pose in the promotion six-pointer between the sides.
Both clubs are just outside the play-offs ahead of the Friday night's showdown at Bramall Lane, with the Blades seventh and the Reds ninth.
Victory for either will send them into the top six ahead of the weekend’s games.
Similar to Steve Cooper at Forest, Heckingbottom has inspired a turnaround since replacing the sacked Slavisa Jokanovic earlier this season.
“Sometimes it's the environment and the message, it's not always as simple as the manager or the players, it's everything combined,” said Heckingbotham when asked about the impact he and Cooper had made at their respective clubs, reported YorkshireLive.
“I am not sure what Steve has had to do in there but he's done a good job and they will approach it the same way as well.
“They will think they are coming to a tough place and will be preparing for that, that's why we keep saying we need to be prepared for what teams throw at us.
“We want to win and we have to respect the threat that is in front of us.”
On the threat Forest will post, Heckingbottom said: “They have won in games where they have dominated and won where they have been on the back foot and countered
“Even if we dominate, they are still dangerous on the break. You have to be ready to defend and exploit every opportunity, that's why we have to be comfortable with how we play.”
