Shea Lacey has issued an apology after being sent off for Manchester United in the FA Cup.

The highly-rated teenage winger was sent on by caretaker manager Darren Fletcher to replace Mason Mount for the final 28 minutes of Sunday’s all-Premier League third-round clash with Brighton at Old Trafford, making only his third appearance in senior football.
