Global superstar Shawn Mendes has cancelled the rest of his Wonder world tour, including his date in Glasgow next year.
The Stitches singer was scheduled to perform at the OVO Hydro on Thursday, July 28, 2023. The star put out a statement to his fans to reveal the news.
In his statement, Shawn noted that he "wasn't totally prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take on me". He also explained that after speaking with his team, and "an incredible group of health professionals", he would be cancelling his tour dates in North America, UK and Europe.

Shawn finished his statement by thanking fans for "supporting me and sticking by me on this journey", and promises he will be back "as soon as I've taken the right time to heal".

The OVO Hydro also released a statement on the news, writing: "Sadly, Shawn Mendes's show at the OVO Hydro on 28 July 2023 has been cancelled.
"Refunds are available from point of purchase. Look after yourself Shawn, looking forward to having you back soon."
The OVO Hydro has directed fans to the Ticketmaster website, and other ticket sellers to get their refunds.
