Shaughna Phillips has warned the "mum police" not to come for her, as she spoke about taking her baby daughter for a drive on her own for the first time, amid dealing with crippling anxiety.
The reality TV star, 28 - best known for having been on Love Island in 2020 - announced the birth of her daughter Lucia earlier this month.
She's provided candid updates with her followers on Instagram since then, and yesterday Shaughna shared a picture of Lucia in a car seat with her mum giving a thumbs up, as she opened up on her recent anxiety.
She wrote in the caption: "First drive on my own? Completed it m8 [tick emoji] Now I know this might not be a big deal to most people, but to me this was H U G E.
"I can’t explain how crippling my anxiety has been since Lucia arrived, I had anxiety through my pregnancy and I really thought it would ease up once she was here but my god I was wrong.
The influencer went on: "I’ve spoken briefly with my midwife about it, and I think it’s going to be something I may need to speak to my doctor about for some help with, but I’m trying.
"I know the more I let my anxiety stop me from doing things, the more Lucia will miss out on, and I’m determined to not let it get the better of me! Small steps [love heart emojis]."
Shaughna then warned trolls not to criticise her for the picture, saying: "(Before the mum police come for me, just want to assure you that passenger airbags were turned off, seatbelt was used correctly,
"It’s legal for her to be in the front with me, she was strapped in securely, picture was taken when I was parked, and if there’s anything else I’ve forgotten, I done that right as well lol.)"
Fans then rushed in to reassure Shaughna she was doing a fab job, with one person saying: "Loving the disclaimer at the end......not loving that you have to put this so you're not shamed though."
Another said: "the last bit... tickled me. Your doing amazing.. and well done!"
Earlier this month Shaughna shared she had been left upset for her baby after the tot was sick.
Alongside a photo of Lucia asleep, she said on Instagram: "We have had a morning.
"Trapped wind and 2 sick tsunamis have made for a really upset Lucia and a really upset mama, nothing worse than hearing her cry and not being able to take it away from her."
Further commenting about such, the former Islander continued in the post: "Finally settled after about 3 hours, my anxiety is at a level 1628461027, and I'm ready for bed."
Shaughna later suggested that things were looking up, with her sharing footage of herself and Lucia out on a walk together. She wrote alongside the video: "...and breathe".
