Shaughna Phillips recently collapsed at the National Television Awards – just five days before announcing she was pregnant.
The former Love Island star, 28, fainted halfway through the glitzy ceremony and had to be carried out by her management team after falling ill.
At the time, a source close to the blonde beauty revealed that people had been concerned by Shaughna's health scare but she was swiftly taken back to her hotel after seeing the medical staff.
"Shaughna was pretty upset by it all, it was a horrible thing to happen," a source told The Sun.
Following her health scare, Shaughna took to Instagram to clear the air, admitting she wasn't drunk at the event held at the OVO Arena in Wembley.
She told fans: "I just had this absolute dodgy turn, and yeah, I had to take my shoes off and be helped out by my manager," as she squashed rumours that she may have enjoyed herself a bit too much.
However, Shaughna's ill health now appears to have become clear after the star took to Instagram today (October 19) to announce she was expecting her first child.
The star who appeared on the sixth season of the show in 2020 shared an adorable video documenting her journey alongside the caption: "Our greatest chapter yet."
Her upload which she shared with her 1.4 million followers began with a clip of her attending a scan and also included footage of her excitedly showing off a positive test to the camera.
Shaughna is understood to have been in a relationship with a mystery partner for months, having previously expressed her intention to keep him out of the public eye.
She shared the baby's scan photo in the video, as well as confirmed to her followers on the platform that the due date for the new arrival is in March next year.
Another clip showed Shaughna announcing the news to fellow former Love Islander Demi Jones, 24, and podcast host Lauren Mahon, 37 – whom she had tagged in the post.
Fans and celebrity pals instantly flocked to the comment section to congratulate the reality star, with Joanna Chimonides writing: "OOMG. Congrats my darling."
"I love you so much. I'm so happy and proud of you, I've rewatched this like 50 times," added Demi.
Meanwhile, Georgia Steel commented: "Ahhh the most exciting! Finally it's out. Love you beautiful."
Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison added: "OMG, congratulations beautiful girl."
