Sharon Stone's beloved brother Patrick has reportedly died following a battle with heart disease – two years after the death of his son.
The Hollywood star's sibling passed away early Sunday morning in Pennsylvania, reports TMZ who say his death is "being ruled as sudden cardiac".
According to the outlet, Patrick's heartbroken wife Tasha announced the devastating news in a gut-wrenching statement shared with family friends.
"My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to be with our sweet River ... I don’t know what else to say, he was my world," she said, per TMZ.
"I’m not sure what life is supposed to look like without my husband by my side and quite honestly I don’t want to, but I will of course," she continued.
"I just hope that you always stay by my side watching over Hunter, Kaylee and I."
The 'River' Tasha was referring to is the couple's son who tragically passed away aged just 11-months-old back in 2021.
"Until we meet again I will forever hold you and our wonderful (and some not so wonderful but just as important) memories close to my heart and will visit those memories always," Tasha wrote.
"I love you honey babe. My wish through all of this is that now at least River has his daddy with him and I hope the two of you are having the best time."
It was back in 2021 that Sharon revealed she was gripped with grief after the tragic – and unexpected death – of her 11-month-old nephew River.
She had previously called for a "miracle" after the baby boy was rushed to hospital because of organ failure, she couldn't believe the beautiful boy died a few days later.
Sharon took to Instagram to share a sombre image of an empty couch in what appeared to be a hotel room. "The stages of grief," she wrote at the time.
In another heartbreaking post, the Academy Award-nominated actress confirmed that River had sadly passed away.
"River William Stone. Sept. 8, 2020 - Aug. 30, 2021," the movie star wrote on social media alongside a clip featuring the late baby.
Before his death, the Basic Instinct star, who was also River's godmother, wrote alongside a picture: "My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib with total organ failure today."
"Please pray for him. We need a miracle," she added - but sadly the tot never recovered.
