Sharon Osbourne shares picture from bed with drip after catching Covid

Sharon Osbourne has shared a bed-ridden picture of herself hooked up to a drip, after contracting Covid-19. The talk show presenter revealed she had caught the virus after flying home to Los Angeles to care for rock star husband Ozzy Osbourne, who had previously fallen ill.

The Black Sabbath star is now “on the mend” Sharon told Talk TV, but added that her “entire household” had now tested positive. Speaking to fellow host Jeremy Kyle on Tuesday she reassured him that she “felt fine”.

But sharing a picture of herself on social media in bed with her pet dogs, television remotes and with a drip connected to her arm, she wrote “f*** Covid”. The former X Factor judge revealed in December 2020 that she had tested positive for Covid and had been briefly admitted to hospital.

She had been “very worried” about her husband, 73, who has Parkinson’s disease, when it was announced he had contracted the virus. The musician has a rare form of the disease called Parkin 2, which he has had since birth.

The couple have been married since 1982 and they have three children together – Aimee, Kelly and Jack.

Earlier this week, Sharon revealed a health update on The Talk. Talking about Ozzy she said: "He's doing much better thank you. His temperature is now back to normal his coughing has stopped, he's doing much better."

She added: "But I've got some news to share. My daughter Kelly has it, I have it and the entire household has it now." Asked if Ozzy will now be looking after his wife, Sharon laughed and said: "Maybe, we'll see. I feel OK actually.

"Ozzy was only diagnosed in the middle of the night our time. I spoke to him and he's OK. I am very worried about Ozzy right now. We've gone two years without him catching Covid and it's just Ozzy's luck it would be now."

Sharon added: "My family is my life. I can't believe my luck. I'm missing the show and I've only been there three days. I can't believe it. Three days and I'm missing the show but I will be back. I know I will.

"It will take me a week to get my old man back on his feet again and I will be back. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed in the middle of the night when the family was sleeping so I haven't spoken to them yet. But they'll rally round. They'll be with him.

"You're going to see me back on air in a week. I know my husband. We're going to get him back on his feet and we're going to get a negative test by next week."
