Sharon Osbourne sparked concern as she shared a photo of herself hooked up to a drip as she battles Covid.
The talk show presenter, 69, contracted the virus after flying home to Los Angeles to care for rock star husband Ozzy Osbourne, 73, who had tested positive.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Sharon looked frail as she lay in bed with her pet dogs, television remotes and with a drip connected to her arm.
She captioned the shot, "f**k Covid".
Followers soon took to the comment section wishing her a speedy recovery. One wrote: "Feel better soon", while another added: "You are much stronger than Covid! Lots of love Sharon".
A third follower said: "Oh no- sending my luv mama Osbourne" (sic).
But speaking to fellow host Jeremy Kyle on Tuesday she reassured him that she “felt fine”.
The former X Factor judge revealed in December 2020 that she had tested positive for Covid and had been briefly admitted to hospital.
She had been "very worried" about her husband, 73, who has Parkinson’s disease, when it was announced he had contracted the virus last week.
Speaking to The Mirror about Sharon's concerns for her husband, and insider revealed that the former reality TV star dropped everything to be with her other half as soon as she heard of his worrying diagnosis.
“She’s beside herself with worry. Ozzy was badly paranoid about getting Covid because of everything that he has been through," the insider revealed.
"Now he’s got it, he’s panicked and feeling awful. He heard about Covid spreading on surfaces and got so paranoid that he got all takeaway deliveries coming into the house sprayed outside with anti-bacterial treatments.”
In an emotional video last week, Sharon said: "Ozzy was diagnosed in the middle of the night, our time. I spoke to him and he’s OK.
"I am very worried about Ozzy. We went two years without him catching Covid. It’s just Ozzy’s luck it would be now."
The couple have been married since 1982 and they have three children together – Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
