Sharks v Munster live stream: How to watch the Champions Cup match online

Munster are in South Africa for their Champions Cup last 16 clash with the Sharks at the 52,000 capacity King’s Park stadium in Durban.

The match, which kicks off at 12.30pm Irish time, is being shown live on BT Sport 3 and you can also stream it on the BT Sport player.

Sharks won three out of four games in the Pool stages. They beat Bordeaux home and away, including an impressive 19-16 victory at Stade Chaban-Delmas.

They beat the French side 32-3 at home and had two high-scoring games against Harlequins, winning 39-31 in King’s Park and losing 39-29 away.

Former Ireland U20 Head Coach Noel McNamara is the Sharks Attack and Backs Coach with former Munster players Thomas du Toit and Gerbrandt Grobler part of their squad.

Munster qualified for the round of 16 thanks to two victories over Northampton Saints, picking up losing bonus-points in narrow defeats to Toulouse.

Extra time and, if necessary, a place kick competition will feature in the event of tied matches during the knockout stage of the tournament.

The winner of Sharks v Munster will be away to Toulouse or home to Bulls in next week’s Champions Cup quarter-finals.
