After leaving FS1 earlier this summer, NFL Hall of Famer and sports analyst Shannon Sharpe is not only reportedly joining ESPN’s First Take, but he is also taking his Club Shay Shay podcast to Colin Cowherd’s “The Volume” platform.
Sharpe announced his decision in a video he posted on social media with his former FS1 colleague.
“Do you have good news for me?” Cowherd asked as the video began. “You’re smiling,” Cowherd added.
“I have great news for you,” Sharpe said. “We’re in business together bro. I’ve decided to bring Club Shay Shay over and partner with you. When we first started, you said ‘Hey give me an opportunity. Hear what everybody else has to say.’ I listed to everybody but I felt ‘The Volume’ was the best place for me.”
Cowherd said that he felt like he landed Peyton Manning in Denver, before complimenting Sharpe on how hard he worked with Bayless on Undisputed as a former pro athlete who made his money and was very successful.
“It consumes your life,” Sharpe agreed. “And I think what made it easier for me, Colin, it was because football consumed my life, and so now that I’m in this business, I devote my life to this business. I am very very excited to know that Club Shay Shay has partnered with ‘The Volume.’”

Sharpe didn’t let any grass grow under his feet following his departure from FS1, and now he’ll be producing his content in a new venue.
