Doherty, who battled cancer for several years, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Despite speculating she had limited time left, she announced remission in 2017. Unfortunately, the cancer returned in 2020 at stage 4, spreading to her brain and bones. Throughout her health journey, Doherty remained open about her struggles and preparations for the worst.
