Shane MacGowan has sent birthday wishes and love to his good friend and "brother" Johnny Depp today.

The Pogues star and his wife Victoria had been vocal in their support for the actor during his high profile court case against ex-wife Amber Heard.

MacGowan and Depp have been friends for more than three decades with the singer eager to send all his "well wishes and love".
