Shane Lowry will tee it up for the final round of The Masters seven shots behind the solo lead held by World No 1 Scottie Scheffler.
The 35-year-old is tied for fourth place at -2 along with 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, after a frustrating back nine at Augusta National this evening.
Lowry picked up where he left off at the end of his second round and was two-under (-5 for the tournament) through six holes of his third round.
But he bogeyed the par-four ninth hole and added another bogey on the 13th after a poor approach shot, with TV microphones picking up a foul-mouthed outburst from Lowry after he overshot the pin.
The Offaly man cut a frustrated figure after another bogey on 17 and spoke of his frustration when interviewed after the round.
Cameron Smith is Scheffler's closest challenger and the Australian sits in second place at -6 after carding an impressive 68 in high winds.
Lowry's playing partner, South Korean Sungjae Im, is third in the leaderboard at -4.
Rory McIlroy will be hoping to land a top-10 finish with a strong showing tomorrow. The four-time major champion is tied for ninth position at +1 after a one-under-par 71 in his third round.
Tiger Woods, meanwhile, again looked to be struggling physically and shot a six-over 78 after a poor putting display, which included a four-putt double-bogey on the fifth green.
