Shane Lowry sent a classy message to Masters champion Scottie Scheffler after the Offaly man finished joint-third at Augusta on Sunday.

Lowry shot a final round 69 at the famous course and finished joint-third with Australian Cameron Smith, while Rory McIlroy finished second after an incredible final round.

The 2019 Open champion ran up a triple-bogey six on the fourth, but fought back to birdie the sixth, eighth and ninth before further birdies on the 13th, 15th and 18th.
