Shamrock Rovers are close to finalising a new primary sponsor after their deal with 888.com ran its course.
The betting firm sponsored the league champions for the last two seasons, but many fans were not in favour of the partnership.
They were particularly annoyed this time last year when a racehorse - whose potential winnings would go to charity - was unveiled as a new signing.
The 888.com contract ran for the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Hoops clinching the league title in both years.

But new sponsors are set to be unveiled for 2023 - and possibly by the end of this week.
In a statement, Rovers said the deal with 888.com ‘delivered on all targets set at the beginning of the partnership’.
It added: “The club would like to thank the 888sport team and its agency partners for being such great partners, highly collaborative and excellent to work with.”
