Former Labour MP Claudia Webbe has lost her appeal against her conviction for harassing a love rival - but won't face being kicked out of Parliament.
Webbe, who represents Leicester East as an independent after being expelled by Labour, was last year found guilty and handed a 10-week suspended jail sentence after targeting Michelle Merritt, 59, between September 2018 and April 2020.
She faced the threat of a recall petition, which could have triggered a by-election, as a result of her original suspended sentence.
