The Oklahoma Thunder City will be without a couple of key players in their preseason opener against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault announced that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) and Vasilije Micic (ankle sprain) will be out for the game.
Daigneault made the announcement following Sunday’s training camp. He also said Micic’s ankle sprain is day-to-day. Both players join Aleksej Pokusevski — who continues to rehab from an ankle sprain — as Thunder players who will sit out.
