After a career season last year, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has picked up right where he left off as one of the best players in the league.
The 25-year-old was nominated for Western Conference Player of the Month for October and November. Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic won the award.
Gilgeous-Alexander has led the Thunder to a strong 13-6 start to their season. In 18 games, he’s averaged 29.9 points on 53.8% shooting, 6.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds. He’s shot 36.5% from 3 on 3.5 attempts.
This news come minutes after Chet Holmgren won the Western Conference Rookie of the Month award for October and November. The guard-center duo continues to get national recognition for their strong seasons thus far.
