NEW DELHI: Senior all-rounder Shadab Khan is unlikely to be part of the upcoming T20I series in New Zealand in January due to an ongoing ankle injury. Despite his exclusion from the playing XI, sources from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirm that Shadab will travel with the squad to continue his rehabilitation.
PCB sources revealed that discussions were held regarding resting former captain Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan for the five-match series, but the national selection committee has decided against it.
