A pensioner has been left 'frightened to live at home' after a sex worker held a break knife at his throat and robbed from him. Heroin addict and serial criminal Charlotte Newton deliberately targeted the 74-year-old, who had regularly paid her for sexual services in the past, a court has heard.
Newton was desperate for some easy money and saw the shocked pensioner as a soft target who was less likely to call the police because of their secret sexual arrangement, Hull Live reports. She also robbed his 69-year-old friend of money after brandishing the knife close to his throat.
Aggressive Newton turned up at the 74-year-old's home with two masked men and another woman, Hull Crown Court heard. She denied two counts of robbery but was convicted by jury following a trial.
