Journalist Olivia Nuzzi has filed a no-contact order against her ex-fiancé, Ryan Lizza, alleging that he harassed her by sharing details of her alleged affair with Kennedy, whom Lizza described as a "sex addict," according to a report.
Nuzzi and Lizza's relationship began to unravel in August 2023, when Lizza discovered her alleged year-long affair with RFK Jr. Following the revelation, Lizza claimed Nuzzi admitted that the "toxic" relationship was characterized by manipulation and a significant power imbalance.
The disclosure led to their eventual breakup and escalating legal conflict, with Nuzzi accusing Lizza of blackmail and threats. Lizza denied Nuzzi's claims, and countered that she was spreading false information.
"I discovered that Ms. Nuzzi had been cheating on me with a married man [RFK Jr.] for almost a year," Lizza wrote in a filing, according to The Daily Beast. "She admitted the affair and over the course of weeks of conversations she confided how she fell into what she described as a 'toxic' 'unhealthy' 'stupid' 'psychotic' 'crazy' 'indefensible' relationship with a 70-year-old 'sex addict' who told her he wanted to 'possess,' 'control,' and 'impregnate' her."
