Extreme heat is hampering the search for a woman missing after going camping in Kakadu National Park over a week ago.
Jessica Louise Stephens travelled to the national park on October 17 to camp near Nourlangie Rock.
The 35-year-old has not made contact with her family since.
Dozens of park rangers and police officers have scoured the area using quad bikes, motorbikes, drones and helicopters.
On Thursday afternoon, personal items believed to belong to Ms Stephens were located "a considerable distance from the walking track in harsh terrain", NT Police said in a statement on Friday.
Police are concentrating their search efforts around the location where the items were found.
"As search and rescue efforts enter the fourth day, severe to extreme heatwave conditions are expected to continue across the Northern Territory and the environment continues to prove to be a challenge," Acting Senior Sergeant Steve Langdon said.
"This has been a massive effort across agencies and we continue to hold out hope of finding Jessica."
Temperatures in the national park were forecast to reach 41C earlier in the week, police said.
