There are certain things we're prepared to bid adieu to once winter makes its presence known. Like tank tops, cutoffs and the no pants look. You may have noticed that skirts aren't on the restrictive list. That's because there are actually plenty of ways to keep them in rotation through March. All you have to do is look to the street style set to see how to style a skirt in winter so you can look cool without freezing.

There are some tools of the trade, however. Number one is a pair (or two, or three) of tights. Preferably comprised of cotton or wool. You can also rely on knee-high or over-the-knee socks if your skirt is long enough. A variety of boots is also vital, from booties to thigh-high creations. Then it all comes down to layering.
