Seven in ten children don’t think the internet is a safe place – but continue to put themselves in potentially dangerous online situations, according to research.
A third of youngsters, aged between eight to 13, have shared personal details and posted pictures of things they own on group chats, despite 60% agreeing they need to be careful while using social media.
And just under four in ten (37%) said they play games where they don’t know the players they are connecting with.
