Forget butterflies and happy tears. This Dior bride’s big moment arrived looking less like couture and more like a Home Depot delivery. In a now-viral TikTok, handymen lug a massive wooden crate into her house–except it’s the kind you’d expect to hold a fridge, not a frock.
The container isn’t even the end of it. The entire unboxing process comes equipped with fighting zip ties and eventually acquiring a wire cutter. By the time the lid comes off, the gossip machine is in full swing. Viewers are torn between awe over the absurdly dramatic packaging and side-eyeing whether all that chaos was really worth it for that dress.
How was this Dior dress delivered?
Fashion influencer Taylor (@trobsssss) has stunned the internet with her Dior gown. Her clips surrounding her wedding dress delivery and unboxing have achieved a combined 18.3 million views. Her wedding took place in Amanzoe, Greece, and once it was over, Dior shipped it back to Paris to clean and package it before ultimately shipping it to Taylor’s home address.
The first clip is just 15-seconds long, showcasing how the big crate got into her house in the first place. Two movers are shown bringing it from outside and then carefully transferring it downstairs. The rest is Taylor revealing the dress in stages.
First, the wooden exterior is removed. Then, the pristine white Christian Dior printed box cover. Finally, multiple layers of meticulously placed tissue paper. The text overlay reads: “POV: your wedding dress is delivered in a box so big it needs its own room.”
Except… It’s Not That Easy
In another clip, Taylor shows the actual unboxing process, and it’s quite different. Where the first video made it look practically seamless, this clip shows more brawn needed. The clip begins with Taylor standing beside her vertically placed crate. It’s taller than her. The crate is covered in a layer of plastic and tape. Taylor says she will see if she can open it herself and takes scissors to slice through the first layer. Upon finishing, she finds that the plastic tarp is tied together with zip ties and a metal wire. She continues with just a pair of scissors. She now faces the wooden crate and says, “What have they done?”
Taylor realizes she needs help and the video cuts to the box now lying vertically. She says she should have been able to open it, but realized it was sealed closed with metal wires, so now she has to get a wire cutter. The next time it cuts, Taylor now has the cutter and snips through the four wires. It’s finally reveal time.

The Reveal
As she lifts the wooden cover, Taylor says, “Oh my God, that’s a huge box. I’m gonna need like a junk person to come pick up this crate.”
She shows the unblemished white box and she notes that it looks similar to the mannequin she had already received from Dior. In a separate video, Taylor had posted about receiving the custom-made dress form that Dior gifted her after the wedding. It came similarly to the wedding dress and was just shipped separately because Taylor said she didn’t have enough space for two crates at home.
She then lifts the cover labeled Christian Dior and reveals the tissue paper. She gingerly unwraps it, and lo and behold, her gown is laid out pristinely with the hanger already placed in the dress.
“There she is, sleeping beauty,” gushes Taylor. She then shows an inside view of the dress and how it is stuffed between the layers of fabric. This is done so the “fabric doesn’t break” and to avoid any creases. In the last few seconds, she looks around in the crate for a pair of custom-made Dior heels that she also wore at the wedding. As she pulls out the shoe-box triumphantly, the clip ends.
Viewers are unimpressed
As usual, Taylor’s viewers had a lot to say once they saw her dress. Not a lot of good opinions either. One viewer said, “Wow u just payed for the brand not the dress.” While another said, “All of that.. for THAT!?”
“There’s more right???” a viewer asks. “’Haute couture’ and it’s a regular ahh dress,” says another.
Finally, one viewer says, “Mmmhhh ok …. the packaging looks more interesting.”
Of course, Taylor has some defenders. One viewer chimes in and says, “When you pay so much for a dress, you deserve the best and the best care… those who don’t know about haute couture, will think it’s exaggerated.”
Another says, “Yall be hating on her dress. Her dress was more than just a dress. It was a literal experience, flying to Paris for consultations and fittings back to back and to experience Dior’s atelier team first hand is some people’s wildest dream and she experienced firsthand. Plus her dress has a unique construction that sets it apart from a normal clean dress, if you know, you know.”
“I need these problems,” shares one viewer. Another says, “Oh you RICH RICH.”
The Mary Sue has covered another story where a bride also received a Dior dress via shipment. While people comment on shipping costs, Dior’s website reports that items over $3,000 are shipped for free.
