Seven celebrities crashed out of RTE’s Ultimate Hell Week in a dramatic showdown that saw the recruits go ‘toe to toe with the devil’ on a mountain.
And whilst the recruits have formed a tight bond up to now, the DS drove a wedge between the group with a ‘point out’ exercise.
The task saw each recruit forced to select someone who they believe is the weakest recruit and explain why they won’t pass the course. Rebeccah O'Rourke was ultimately sent home.

Whilst she struggled to hold back tears after the emotional session, the Irish fitness model said: “I could hardly lift the bag off the ground, never mind carry it over a mountain. So it was probably the best time for me to leave.
“What I’ve learned here will stand to me forever. I’m so happy I did it. I pushed myself as best that I could.”
The DS commended her efforts, saying: “A fantastic effort. To be that frazzled for days and she kept going and going and going. And in the end she didn’t quit.
Each recruit must select someone who they believe is the weakest recruit and explain why they won’t pass the course. For some of them this could be the tipping point.
The 10 remaining recruits faced the hardest test on the Hell Week course, Foreman Aftman, a timed mountain march with over 50kg of kit on their backs in this week’s show.
And it proved too tough for half of the group, as they failed to reach the end within the five hour time window.
First to get pulled by the DS for failing to keep up to speed was Irish female professional mixed martial artist, Aisling Daly.
The DS said: “You are not going to make it, I'm cutting you, the pace is not going to make it.”
He then shook her hand and said: “You’ve come over a massive amount of fear and things you didn’t want to. You have a lot to be proud of. But this is just one thing you can’t get over.
She admitted: “I was trying my best but I was getting nowhere. I just couldn’t manage the weight.
“Honestly, truth be told I don’t feel like I could probably ever do that route. I believe it would be beyond my physical capabilities.”
Irish rugby union player Ciara Griffen was next, and the DS explained, “It’s not that you aren’t putting the effort in, you just aren’t making up the time.
“You have put in maximum effort and have been a great leader in the team..
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
She said: “I hadn’t nothing left, my best wasn’t good enough unfortunately and that's life. You give your all and that doesn’t mean you get what you want.
“It means you tried your best and left everything out there.
“I absolutely loved every minute of it.”
“It was scary, it was hard, it was tough, it pushes you to your absolute limits, but I love it.”
Johnny Ward was next to go. He said: “It’s a real eye opener. And not only that, but like a professional athlete of some sorts now. That means a lot to me, you know.”
All of the others finished the gruelling trail, but heartbreak followed as not all managed to do it within the time.
And despite starting as a leader, TV builder Peter Finn finished last, and was one of three to get kicked off the course due to the time rule.
The Room to Improve star said: “My body could just not move any faster.
“Gut wrenching not to make it through, but I loved it. Absolutely loved it. One of the highlights of my life. That’s the god’s honest truth.”
Irish professional rugby union player, Fergus McFadden was also put out due to exceeding the five hour limit, and added: “I’m so sore and tired I am dying to get home to see my wife and kids. I didn’t think I could love them anymore, but this show had made me love them even more.”
Retired Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer Eoin Cadogan echoed the sentiments as his armband was also taken from him, and added: “I can certainly leave knowing I gave it my absolute all and met some great people and learned a huge amount about myself.
Irish professional boxer, Eric Donovan, was one of the five to finish and continue through to next week, but admitted: “I nearly burst out in tears so many times, but as Johnny says ‘I went toe to toe with the devil’ and I f***ing came out on top.”
Chief Instructor Ray Goggins applauded their efforts, and said “It’s a good place to go, if you are going to go, go on the mountain.
“Anybody who gets through Forman Aftman until the end, like it is a fucking monumental effort. I could never explain how much of an effort it takes. Every single step you take is painful, it is hell.”
