Service held in Dalbeattie to commemorate 40th anniversary of the Falklands War

Dalbeattie Falklands war

A special service to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War was held in Dalbeattie on Tuesday night.

There was a small turnout for the service organised by the Dalbeattie Branch of Legion Scotland with Dalbeattie Parish Church minister the Rev Fiona Wilson conducting the service.

The colours were paraded to the war Memorial in Colliston Park and a wreath was laid by David Stott.
