Servette No.2 Bojan Dimic reckons Rangers will be a tougher challenge than Genk and believes Ibrox's 'intense atmosphere' will motivate the Swiss side.
Rangers welcome Servette to Glasgow for a potentially tricky Champions League third qualifying round clash and must travel to Geneva for the return leg with the Swiss side having sold out their stadium for the first time in 20 years.
And Dimic, who has been Servette's assistant manager for six years and continued in his role when current boss Rene Weiler took charge earlier this year, can't wait for a crack at Rangers as they attempt to reach the play-off round for the first time ever.
He said: "I have a feeling Genk treated us too lightly. That won't happen with Rangers. That's not their style.
"I have watched them and I saw what kind of football they are trying to play. They will be more of an aerial threat with a lot of attacking movements. They are well-organised, stronger and better than the Belgians.
"I know Ianis Hagi as a player and he is a great technician, but when you are talking about Rangers, you cannot concentrate on one player - they have such a strong team.
"At this level, all the players are very strong. It's up to us to be disciplined and solid defensively to achieve a result at home so that the Stade de Genève is hot on August 15th.
"At Ibrox, the atmosphere of the Scottish fans, the intensity they show means we have to match it with aggressiveness and a desire to succeed.
"We have to use all this to motivate ourselves and show character. This game will show us exactly who are the leaders in our team.
"It will certainly be a big moment and give us the chills!
"When you consider where this club has come from when we were in the lower leagues in Switzerland and now we are playing in the Champions League against Rangers and have sold out the stadium for the second leg."
