Police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for a young Ayrshire man last seen 60 miles from home.
Lee Martin has been missing from Ardrossan since Monday and was last seen in the Thornhill area of Dumfries and Galloway at around 1pm.
Cops say the 22-year-old's family are extremely worried and appealed to the public to try and trace him.
Lee is described as white, 6ft tall, slim build with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue puffa jacket.
Chief Inspector Gillian Grant of Irvine police station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Lee’s welfare and are asking for the public's assistance to help trace him.
“Lee’s family are extremely worried about him and just want to know that he is safe and well.
“Although he is from Ardrossan and was last seen in Thornhill, Lee is also known to frequent the wider North Ayrshire area.
“If you think you may have seen him or have any information on his whereabouts, please contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 2895 of August 18. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.
