Serie A club respond to Nottingham Forest 'interest' by opening talks

Torino have reportedly 'opened talks' with manager Ivan Juric over a contract extension after he was linked with the Nottingham Forest job.

The Croatian tactician is highly rated in Italy with a number of clubs said to be interested in him after he led Torino to a 10th place finish in Serie A last season. Reports in Italy earlier this month claimed that Forest were one of the clubs showing an interest.

Tuttosport reported that the Reds are ‘considering’ the manager for next season, despite current head coach Steve Cooper signing a new contract in October. The Welshman put pen to paper on a new three-year deal, ending speculation over his future after a disappointing start to life back in the Premier League.
