Torino have reportedly 'opened talks' with manager Ivan Juric over a contract extension after he was linked with the Nottingham Forest job.
The Croatian tactician is highly rated in Italy with a number of clubs said to be interested in him after he led Torino to a 10th place finish in Serie A last season. Reports in Italy earlier this month claimed that Forest were one of the clubs showing an interest.
Tuttosport reported that the Reds are ‘considering’ the manager for next season, despite current head coach Steve Cooper signing a new contract in October. The Welshman put pen to paper on a new three-year deal, ending speculation over his future after a disappointing start to life back in the Premier League.

The same publication are now reporting that Torino have offered Juric a new contract after entering negotiations on a new deal, just over a week after it emerged that Forest were supposedly keeping an eye on him. The 47-year-old responded to the speculation last week.
“We are here and working for what is best for Toro,” he said, via Football Italia. "Everything else is just chatter and does not count.”
Juric has recently put doubt over his future at the club by saying he could not take Torino any further, and the manager sent a hint when asked if he was on the lookout for a new club.
“I don’t know, you can be improved by everything around you, because it is always a learning experience, challenging yourself,” he said. “New experiences improve you and you can be opened up to different ideas. It also depends on who you have at your disposal in the squad.
“We are focused, tomorrow’s game means a lot in that sense and we are all concentrated. I am not thinking about anything else.”
