A man who breached a landmark anti-social behaviour court order by abusing care home staff has been jailed for three months.
In July 2020, Daniel Davies, 35, was handed a two-year civil injunction following a long history of reported disorder and violence in South Tyneside. The injunction forbid him from setting foot in the home of another named man – as well as causing harassment, alarm or distress, or using threatening or intimidating language, in public.
The order, handed down by South Tyneside County Court, also ordered Davies to engage with South Tyneside Adult Recovery Service to address his alcohol misuse.
