In a kaleidoscope of political rollercoasters, Serbia's presidential chessboard seems to be tilting towards victory for the incumbent party. Although the spectacle of definitive results has yet to unfurl, President Aleksandar Vucic is already painting the town with his party's triumphant color.
The top rank of the Serbian Progressive Party has avowed a sweeping victory in the recent snap parliamentary election. On the Sunday that congregated both uncertainty and anticipation, the radar of possibilities seemed firmly cocked in favor of the president's regiment. Interesting to note, however, was the president's absence from the ballot drama. Despite this omission, the shadows of the hopeful forecast dance a tune promising an optimistic expansion of the party's reach in the parliamentary and political sphere, something they missed a beat on back in the year-bygone, 2022.
