NEW DELHI: Equity indices jumped for 2nd straight session on Tuesday, with the benchmark BSE sensex rising over 900 points amid strong rally in global markets.
After a volatile session, the 30-share BSE index jumped 934 points or 1.81 per cent to close at 52,532. While, the broader NSE Nifty settled 289 points or 1.88 per cent higher at 15,639.
Titan, SBI, TCS, HCL Tech, Dr Reddy's and Tata Steel were the top gainers in the sensex pack rising as much as 5.92 per cent.
