The number one restaurant in and around Liverpool on TripAdvisor has changed - with Furusato Bar & Grill now in the top spot.
The restaurant has risen through the ranks of the review site to become the number one venue in Liverpool - although technically it is outside the city, within the boundaries of Sefton. At the time of publication, Furusato Bar & Grill had received 186 reviews, in which 176 people rated it 'excellent' and 6 'very good'.
The restaurant serves up a range of Pan Asian dishes including Korean cauliflower bites, spiced potato bonda and chicken katsu. The menu also features desserts like cinnamon sugar churros, a range of cocktails and a small plates section.

The restaurant has racked up a number of five star reviews on TripAdvisor. Among the reviews, one person wrote: “Fantastic. Unbelievable food can’t argue with the price should see for yourself. Drinks are to die for and different every week.”
A second person wrote: “Best restaurant around - our regular. This is our favourite restaurant around and we come here when we get the chance to as we live close by too.
“The food is absolutely amazing, definitely recommend the chicken wings and strawberry sangria. Service is always really friendly and we love the atmosphere and the staff. Cannot recommend this place enough.”
Another added: “Sensational food and service. 10/10 food and service. Manager Dan was amazing, helpful and friendly. Lovely vibe in the gaff as well. Would definitely recommend.”
The team at Furusato shared the news of its TripAdvisor ranking on Facebook, claiming it is a “massive achievement” for the venue. The full post said: “ANNOUNCEMENT. Such a proud moment for us here at Furusato!
“As of this week we have hit the top spot, #1 Restaurant in the whole of Liverpool on TripAdvisor, as a small independent restaurant this is a massive achievement for us & we are really proud to be creating something special for our local community.
“Thank you for the continued love and support from all of our lovely guests, onwards & upwards from here.”
Furusato Bar & Grill can be found at 2 - 4 Westway, Maghull, L31 0DQ. The restaurant is open from 12pm - 11pm on Monday to Thursday, 12pm - 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12pm - 10pm on Sundays.
