Sennheiser's MOMENTUM True Wireless series has been around long enough to develop a recognizable identity. Since the early generations, the formula has usually been familiar: a fabric-covered charging case, a relatively conservative design and, most importantly, a sound signature that favors clarity and soundstage over chasing trends.
The last MOMENTUM True Wireless model covered here was the MTW3 back in August 2022. Four years later, Sennheiser is now on the fifth generation, and the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 — MTW5 for short — represents a much more dramatic change than the name might suggest.
