Senegal have issued a statement labelling the decision to strip Les Lions of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title as a "shame for Africa".

Senegal beat tournament hosts Morocco 1-0 after extra-time in a hugely controversial final to be crowned AFCON champions for a second time in five years.
