The letter has garnered support from notable Republicans such as Marco Rubio, Rick Scott, Tommy Tuberville, Marsha Blackburn, J.D. Vance, and others.
In his post sharing the letter, Lee emphasized that strong statements alone are insufficient in addressing the situation. The Republicans' collective action aims to demonstrate their commitment to their cause.
Reacting to this development, Democratic Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware expressed astonishment at the letter and urged his colleagues to acknowledge the outcome of Trump's hush money trial. Carper highlighted that the justice system functioned as intended, affording Trump and his legal team the opportunity to present their case, while the state had the chance to present its arguments.
