During a congressional hearing focused on discussing hate crimes, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was interrupted by an anti-Israel agitator who shouted profanities, including 'F***ing Jews.' The hearing, titled 'A Threat to Justice Everywhere: Stemming the Tide of Hate Crimes in America,' addressed the rise of antisemitism, particularly on college campuses.

Cruz highlighted the alarming increase in antisemitic incidents following a tragic event on October 7, where over 1,200 Israelis were killed by terrorists. He criticized the Biden-Harris administration for its perceived inaction in addressing antisemitism, comparing the response to what would occur if African American students were targeted by the Klan.

The senator pointed out instances of antisemitic behavior on college campuses, including threats and intimidation towards Jewish students. He questioned why no action had been taken by the administration to hold universities accountable for allowing such behavior.

No indictments or funding cuts for promoting antisemitism on campuses.

The senator recounted incidents at various universities, including Columbia University, where Jewish students faced threats and intimidation. He displayed evidence of antisemitic behavior, such as students advocating violence against their peers.

Cruz concluded by emphasizing the urgent need to address antisemitism on college campuses and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
