Sen. Grassley Advocates For Tariff Exemptions To Protect Farmers

Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, speaks at the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing for Pam Bondi, President-elect Donald Trump's choice to lead the Justice Department as attorney general,

Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa has been actively involved in advocating for exemptions to President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on Canada. He recently expressed his approval of Trump's decision to pause tariffs on Mexico for a month and is hopeful that negotiations with Canada will prevent further discussions of imposing tariffs.
