NAGPUR: City's last hope in BWF Maharashtra International Challenge - Ritika Thaker - went down fighting in two back-to-back quarterfinals at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur, on Friday evening. With her defeats, the host's challenge came to an end. Same was the story for her women's doubles partner - Simran Singhi from Mumbai.
First partnering with Dingku Sing Konthoujam, Ritika challenged the combo of Gouse Shaik and Maneesha K with their counter-offensive tactics in the mixed doubles quarterfinal.
