Netflix's hit reality show Selling Sunset has just finished its fifth season with a juicy reunion episode and left fans hungry for more.
Selling Sunset's mixture of high-fashion, high drama and high house prices has entranced viewers as the show's glamorous estate agents try to navigate the world of relationships and real estate.
In the programme's dramatic finale, the romance which bloomed over the course of the season between the company owner Jason Oppenheim and employee Chrishell Stause, came to a dramatic ending - leaving many fans wondering if their romance had just been a "showmance".
It has been confirmed by US media that the hit Californian real estate programme has been signed up for a sixth season by Netflix, and it might be coming a lot sooner than viewers will expect.
According to Us Weekly, the show's fifth and sixth seasons were filmed back to back, with a planned break for the show's seventh season - as well as a couple of spin-off shows.
Moving further north from Hollywood, the spin-off Selling the OC will be set in Orange County and, judging from trailers, will feature just as many backstabbing, dramatic real estate agents as the smash hit Selling Sunset.
When will season 6 air?
Netflix hasn't officially renewed the binge-worthy show for a sixth season but it's been widely reported the show will be back for at least two more seasons.
The fourth and fifth seasons were filmed back to back so it's likely the cast will be taking a well-earned break before they return to filming.
Either way we can't wait to see what the future holds for our favourite real estate agents.
Is Christine coming back for the next season?
Near the tail-end of the fifth season, it emerged that Christine Quinn had offered a client $5,000 to not work with one of her own colleague, Emma Hernan.
"You should never have to deal with something like that," Jason told Hernan. "She's crossed the line in my book."
On the Oppenheim Group's website, Christine's details have now been taken down.
Christine then revealed that she was starting a new company with her partner to "disrupt the real estate industry."
Her Instagram post read: "Introducing my company RealOpen.com Click the link in my bio to learn more. Why work for someone else when you can be your own CEO?"
Who will come back for season six?
While not all of the previous cast have confirmed that they will be returning to the high-drama property programme, some of the show's biggest stars have already stated that they will be making a comeback.
- Jason Oppenheim
- Brett Oppenheim
- Heather Rae El Moussa
- Davina Potraz
- Amanza Smith
- Chrishell Stause
- Emma Hernan
- Mary Fitzgerald
It is not currently known whether British-raised Chelsea Lazkani will be making a return to the small screen, though she is still employed by the Oppenheimer Group.
Will there be a season seven?
After Jason Oppenheim revealed that he had personally overseen $2bn in real estate sales as CEO of his real estate business - Oppenheim Group will still be selling houses whether or not the Netflix cameras are there.
No date is set but it has been reported by US Weekly that Netflix has signed the show up for a seventh season.
With the planned break after the show's sixth season, it is unlikely that this will hit our screens until 2023 or 2024.
