Chelsea star Kai Havertz has been brutally slammed after conceding a penalty which was then converted by Julian Alvarez to put Manchester City two goals ahead in the FA Cup after 30 minutes. An in-swinging corner from City was cleared by the Blues but it later became apparent Havertz had handled inside the area.
A quick VAR check followed and a penalty was awarded and subsequently converted by Alvarez, making his first appearance since the winning the World Cup. Riyad Mahrez had earlier given the hosts the lead and Havertz's bizarre decision has seen fans reach the end of their tether with the man who scored their Champions League winning goal. Here is how Twitter reacted:

Things went from bad to worse for the Blues before half-time, with a sweeping Man City move from left-to-right finished off by Phil Foden to make it 3-0, with little sign of a reaction from Graham Potter's side. City also very nearly grabbed a fourth with Chelsea booed off at half time by the fans remaining in the away end.
